Mark your calendars for the annual parish picnic to be held Aug. 25 (which, for those of you who may care, is the day before my birthday!)
Join us at Haller Shelter— the picnic site just past the Pine Room at Oglebay Park and adjacent to the pool— for Mass beginning at noon.
After the Mass, we will have a lovely feast organized by our parishioners, followed by fun and games for everyone. There will also be wristbands available for anyone who wishes to take advantage of everything the park has to offer. As an added bonus, I’ll be organizing a series of tee-times at the nearby Crispin Golf Course for anyone who wants to play golf, at your own expense (please let me know by Aug. 18 if you wish to play.)
Here is how we would like to break down the food arrangements—families with last names beginning with A-Q, please bring a casserole or side dish; families with last names beginning with R-Z, please bring a dessert.
